Smoke Spotted at Alabama State House

The Montgomery Fire/Rescue responded to a call of flames at the Alabama State House Friday. Reports said smoke was spotted on the third floor in the corridor.

An investigation showed the cause of the smoke. An exhaust fan in the restroom overheated.

Mechanical ventilation was used to clear the smoke from the building and there are no reports of injuries to any of the occupants.
