Montgomery police investigating three shootings
Montgomery police are investigating three shootings that have happened since Friday.
Montgomery Police Department spokesperson Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News the first shooting happened at about 8:35 Friday night. Police were called to the 1100 block of Coliseum Boulevard where they found a man with a gunshot wound. Coleman says the shooting happened in the Todd Road area. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The second shooting happened at about 1:15 Saturday afternoon. Coleman says police were called to the 5600 block of Villas Circle where a juvenile had been shot. He was taken to a hospital.
The third shooting happened at about 1:50AM Sunday. Police were called to a hospital where a man was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound. Coleman says it is not yet known where the shooting happened.
In all three cases, Coleman says the victims’ injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
