Pike Road’s Mellow Mushroom set to open November 20

A popular pizza restaurant coming to Pike Road now has an opening date.

Action 8 News stopped by the new Mellow Mushroom location at 9559 Vaughn Road. It is in the same complex as Pike Road Town Hall. A sign on the door says the location will open on November 20.

Based out of Atlanta, the pizza chain says it offers “fresh, stone-baked pizzas in an eclectic, art-filled, and family-friendly environment.”

This will be the only Mellow Mushroom in the River Region. Mellow Mushroom used to have locations in downtown Montgomery, East Montgomery and Prattville.
