Consumer Alert: Recalls issued for children’s cups, heated blankets and Jeep SUVs
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled several types of children’s cups due to high levels of toxic lead. The recall impacts the 8 oz. models of Stainless Steel Toddler Cups from PandaEar, some LAOION Children’s Cups, and Green Sprouts Stainless Steel Straw Bottles, Sippy Cups, and Sip and Straw Cups.
The alert also says the lids can break during use and expose children to sharp edges and small parts.
The PandaEar and LAOION cups were sold on Amazon in 2023, and the Green Sprouts products were sold on Amazon, buybuybaby.com, and bedbathandbeyond.com from January 2020 through September 2022.

Stellantis is recalling more than 32,000 hybrid Jeep Wrangler SUV’s due to a potential fire risk. Eight Jeep Wrangler SUVs have caught fire while parked and turned off. An internal investigation found six of the vehicles caught fire while they were charging, but Stellantis is not aware of any related injuries or accidents. The recall involves model years 2021 – 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE SUVs. Stellantis says customers can still drive their vehicles, but they should not charge them and they should park them away from structures and other vehicles. Stellantis will contact owners who are affected by the recall.
