3 Degree Guarantee: Help A Brother Out Foundation gets $1,150 check
We are happy to give away another 3 Degree Guarantee check to a local charity.
The Johnny Adams Law Firm and WAKA Action 8 News are giving a check to the Help A Brother Out Foundation.
We are presenting a check for $1,150, which is what we raised in November for getting Montgomery’s high temperature correct in our weather forecasts, within three degrees.
Help A Brother Out helps members of the community with food assistance and community gardening.
“We can actually get a lot of tools that we need to help educate our community guests and not only that, we can also use it toward our paperwork that we have to do. Our marketing to help further reach our goal and further reach our impact here in Montgomery,” Sam Yu, who is the executive director of Help A Brother Out, said.
“This is in memory of Mister Sam’s brother and he has formed this organization in his memory. They give away free food to people in Montgomery and they fed over 13,000 people since this organization was founded. It’s really great to be a part of this organization and that even I could help give back to the community,” Johnny Adams of the Johnny Adams Law Firm said.
The Johnny Adams Law Firm and WAKA Action 8 News each chip in $25 every day that our weather team gets Montgomery’s high temperature forecast right, within three degrees.
The money grows during the month, to produce a big check that we give to charities right here in our area.
