Man dies in Montgomery shooting

Montgomery police say a man has been fatally shot in north Montgomery.

Montgomery Police Dept. Capt. Raymond Carson told Action 8 News the shooting happened yesterday afternoon at about 2:55PM. Police were called to the 2900 block of Tyler Road, which is near the intersection of Northern Boulevard and Lower Wetumpka Road.

That’s where Carson said officers found a man with a fatal gunshot wound. His name hasn’t been released.

Police are conducting a death investigation. No other details have been released.
