CAMPAIGN 2024: Here’s what you’ll see on your local ballot on Super Tuesday, March 5.
Because this is a primary election, you must ask for a ballot to vote in either the Democratic Primary or the Republican Primary. You cannot vote in both primaries. Polls will be open from 7AM-7PM statewide.
Some of the key races are those for president, the U.S. House of Representatives and the Republican race for Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice. Other races include Alabama Public Service Commission president and seats on the Court of Criminal Appeals and Court of Civil Appeals. There is also a Republican primary race for the District 3 seat on the state school board.
There are dozens of local races throughout our area. These races include some probate judgeships, county commission seats and county school board positions. Voters in Montgomery County will decide whether to renew a tax to benefit schools.
