Alabama set to face Charleston in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament

The Crimson Tide earned a four-seed in the NCAA Tournament and will have thirteenth-seeded Charleston in the opening round on Friday.
The winner of Friday’s game between Alabama and Charleston will have the winner of fifth-seed St. Mary’s and twelfth-seed Grand Canyon.
This will be the Tide’s 24th NCAA Tournament appearance. Alabama owns a tournament record of 23-23. Alabama’s 2004 team has been the only one’s to advance to the Elite 8. The Tide have sent nine of their teams to the Sweet 16, with two of those nine being the 2023 and 2021 teams.
