Violent weekend: A man and a woman are dead in two separate incidents in Montgomery
The Montgomery Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation into the death of a Montgomery woman Sunday evening.
Tonight about 7:02 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 4200 block of the Cobbington Road where they found 64-year-old Gloria Crews.
Crews sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.
This is the second fatal shooting this weekend in the Capital City.
An early morning shooting left a man dead Saturday morning. Officers and fire medics were called around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday to the 3900 block of Eastern Boulevard.
Once they arrived, they found 25-year-old Tracy Cloud, Jr., with a fatal gunshot wound. Cloud, Jr. was pronounced dead on the scene.
The circumstances in both cases remain under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, and no additional information is available.
