Pike Road Crawfish Boil postponed until June 1
The 12th Annual Pike Road Patriot Fund Crawfish Boil has been postponed due to this weekend’s inclement weather.
Officials with the Patriot Fund tell Action 8 News that due to the forecasted rain and storms, the crawfish boil will now take place on Saturday, June 1 at 1001 Marler Road.
In addition to all-you-can-eat crawfish and live music, the festival features face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, petting zoo and much more.
If crawfish isn’t for you, there will be vendors available with different types of food. Coolers are also welcome.
The annual fundraiser benefits Pike Road Schools. Since it’s inception, the Pike Road Patriot Fund has been able to give away close to $200,000 to the arts and athletics throughout the system.
