Golf cart catches fire at FBC Montgomery
Montgomery Fire and Rescue is investigating a fire at one of Montgomery’s prominent churches.
Pastor Mark Bethea tells Action 8 News that a golf car caught fire just before the 11 a.m. service Sunday and eventually spread to the courtyard area.
Bethea said church members were evacuated and no one was injured.
Bethea said Montgomery firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
