Typical late-July weather with scattered storms this weekend
Friday more closely resembled a typical summer day across central and south Alabama. Much of our area was mainly rain-free through the afternoon, with a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures could be hotter in late July, but highs were close to 90° for most. Isolated showers or storms remain possible Friday evening, especially in southwest Alabama. Friday night trends mainly dry after midnight, with lows in the low to mid 70s.
Our weather looks routine for late July this weekend. Both days look reasonably hot, with highs in the low 90s. Showers and storms become scattered to numerous each afternoon. Due to the random nature of rain this weekend, some locations may receive a lot of rain, while others see little. Also, some may remain dry either Saturday or Sunday. Additionally, nobody sees rain last all day.
