1 dead, 1 injured in Montgomery overnight shooting

Montgomery police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed one person and critically injured another.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that around 12:46 a.m., officers and fire medics responded to the 2600 block of Jan Drive in regards to a person shot. Jan Drive is near East South Blvd. and Troy Highway.

Once they arrived, they located 26-year-old Rayonta Fuller-Anderson, of Montgomery, dead from a gunshot wound.

Officers also made contact with an adult male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
