Pedestrian killed in accident on Troy Highway

Montgomery police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that around 12:43 a.m. Friday, officers and fire medics responded to the 4000 block of Troy Highway in responds to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.

On the scene, first responders made contact with an unidentified male pedestrian with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Maj. Coleman said the driver was not injured.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the accident.
