Montgomery man dead in city’s latest homicide

Montgomery police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.

Maj. Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that around 7:11 a.m. Saturday, officers and fire medics were called to the 3000 block of Rosa L. Parks Avenue in reference to a deceased person.

Once they arrived, they found 27-year-old Jimiah Bailey with fatal injuries. Bailey was pronounced dead on the scene.

This is the 54th homicide of the year.
