Montgomery man charged with murder

Montgomery police have charged a man with murder in another man’s shooting death.

Police say they’ve charged 19-year-old Khamaury Gorman of Montgomery with killing 34-year-old Marquaries Williams, who also from Montgomery.

As Action 8 News has reported, the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Mill Street, which is near Oak Street, just west of Interstate 65.

Gorman is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under no bond. 

Police have released no other information.
