Troy University makes changes to dual enrollment program

Troy University is lowering the cost of its dual enrollment program for high school students wanting to get an early start on their college education.

The cost will decrease from $145 per credit hour to $33 for those who qualify for in-state tuition.

Dual enrollment is offered to any students in grades 10 and above and have at least a 3.0 GPA and a 20 on the ACT.

“I’m hoping our numbers increase,” Troy University enrollment coordinator Dr. Keleigh Pritchett said. “We already have students from all over the state, actually all over the country. We have some students who are taking classes online who are based on military bases because their parents are in the military, clearly, so we are really excited for this just to continue to grow, to expand this opportunity and to share our love of Troy University and the quality standard of education that we set with everyone.”

The tuition decrease will take effect in January.
