Distribution Day helps nearly 400 families this Christmas
Thanks to your generosity, almost 400 families will have a Merry Christmas.
The Salvation Army of Montgomery held its Distribution Day Friday.
The day allows preregistered families to receive toys you donated to area children in need.
Many of the toys from today were from our Magical Christmas Toy Drive, as well as other drives throughout the River Region.
This year’s Distribution Day was a little different as organizers chose to make it a drive-thru event.
The Salvation Army says it is grateful for the entire Montgomery community coming together to help support these families.
Capt. Johnson said 367 families were helped this year.
