WATCH: New details released regarding the arrests of two youth detention facility employees

Youth Detention FacilityThe Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has released new details regarding the arrests of two Montgomery Youth Detention Facility employees.

Assistant Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson said Monday that on Wednesday, December 18, the sheriff’s office was notified that on or about December 15, a male juvenile in custody was potentially sexually abused.

The investigation led to the arrest of 32-year-old Kentavious Miller.

According to court records, the victim is a 14-year-old male.

Miller is charged with 1st degree sexual assault.

Chief Deputy Richerson said sometime after, the sheriff’s office was also notified of another sexual assault case involving a male juvenile that was previously in custody.

That investigation led to the arrest of 35-year-old Labradford Armistad.

According to court records, the incident happened between October 15 and November 25, 2024. Court records say that victim is also a 14-year-old male.

Armistad has been charged with seven counts of 1st degree sodomy.

Chief Deputy Richerson said both men are no longer employed.

Miller is currently out on bond, while Armistad is being held without bond.
