Alabama Kidney Foundation to celebrate 50th anniversary
The Montgomery chapter of the Alabama Kidney Foundation is getting ready for its annual walk and celebration.
The foundation will hold its kick off February 20th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Montgomery Whitewater.
The 2025 Montgomery Kidney Walk & Celebration will take place on Saturday, May 3 at Riverwalk Stadium.
This year’s honorary chair is William Van Hooser and the patient chair is Barbi Lee.
In addition to its annual walk, the foundation has a lot to celebrate this year as they are turning the big 5-0!
Action 8’s Ellis Eskew sat down with Shannon Morrell of the Kidney Foundation and Patient Chair Barbi Lee to talk about this year’s events.
