Lowndes County Food Bank Needs Your Help to Continue Serving Those in Need

Harvest Tyme Food Bank was gifted a building by the town of Fort Deposit and initially made repairs.  These repairs include the roof which they paid upwards of $50,000 to upgrade. Unfortunately the work was poorly done and now the non profit is experiencing water damage– destroying computers, office equipment and resources.

Harvest Time is located in a food desert where the closest grocery store is nearly 15 miles away. In addition to the food provided to citizens who depend on the produce in Fort Deposit, Harvest Tyme provides free food to 23 churches from Lowndes County to Selma Elba and Montgomery. Each church receives the food for free then distribute to their communities and aside from donations the one thing they need most

If you would like to donate to Harvest Tyme or Volunteer your services call 334- 590-6620.
