Calico Fort Gearing up for its 53rd Year in Fort Deposit

The Arts Council of Fort Deposit is gearing up for its annual Calico Fort. Action 8 News spoke with organizers and has a preview of this weekend’s arts and crafts festival. The Calico Fort is an Arts and Crafts Show hosted in Fort Deposit for more than 50 years.

This festival brings together exhibitors from all around to showcase their hand-made items. In addition to arts and crafts galore this festival has something for everyone.

Great food, live music, activities for the children and community fellowship.

The 53rd annual Calico Fort will be held this weekend April 12th and 13th 9 to 5 on Saturday and 9 to 4 on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults and $2 for children ages 2 to 18.
