Child injured in accidental shooting
A 3-year-old child is fighting for their life after being involved in an accidental shooting Saturday night.
Asst. Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened in the Vista Del Verde neighborhood in Hope Hull. That area is just off U.S. 31.
Richerson said the investigation is ongoing, but it is believed to be an accidental self-inflicted injury.
