ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police arrest man in April homicide

Montgomery police have charged a man with a fatal shooting that happened in April.

Police say 21-year-old My’Qurious Solomon is charged with murder and attempted murder in the death of 21-year-old Jaquan Lewis of Montgomery.

On Thursday, April 17, at about 8:39PM, police and fire medics were called to the 3200 block of Brookwood Drive, which is near Woodley Road, just south of the bypass.

That’s where they say they found Lewis and another male with gunshot wounds. They were both taken to a hospital where Lewis died.
