Pike Road man dies in Montgomery County crash
A single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County has claimed the life of a Pike Road man.
The crash happened around 9:20 p.m. Thursday on Alexander Road near Ashely Road, approximately 10 miles northeast of Montgomery.
Troopers say 63-year-old Kent Ellis was fatally injured when the pickup he was driving left the roadway and overturned.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
