Six injured in Pine Level accident
Six people have been injured in an accident in Pine Level.
The accident happened around 11:37 p.m. Thursday on I-65 southbound near the 193 mile marker.
When first responders from the Pine Level Fire Department and Old Kingston Fire Department arrived, they found multiple people with serious to life-threatening injuries.
Two people with critical injuries were flown to a Birmingham hospital, while four others with serious injuries were transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
