Fire damages West Montgomery church
Montgomery firefighters spent part of the morning battle a fire at a West Montgomery church.
It happened at Clay Street Baptist Church in the 800 block of Clay Street.
Once firefighters arrived, they found the church with heavy smoke showing.
Crews made entry and was able to extinguish the fire in the center of the building.
No one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
