Alabaster man dies in Butler County crash

A single-vehicle crash in Butler County has claimed the life of an Alabaster man.

The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Monday on U.S. 31, approximately three miles south of the Greenville city limits.

Troopers say 23-year-old Cameron Brice Acreman was fatally injured when the pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck a ditch.

Acreman was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the cause of the crash.
