Students at Prattville High School start new school year

Students at Prattville High School returned back to school Monday.

The senior class got the day started with Senior Ride-In. Students met at First Baptist Church-Prattville for their senior group portrait, then participated in a parade from the church to the high school. Family and friends were stationed along the parade route greeting the students as they rolled through.

As Action 8 News has reported, Autauga County students started back on Thursday, August 7, but due to ongoing renovations at the high school, Prattville High School was pushed back a few days.

Students in Covington County and Selma City Schools also started back Monday.
