Montgomery woman arrested on drug trafficking charges

A Montgomery woman has been arrested on charges related to drug trafficking.

The Alabama Department of Corrections says around 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, ADOC Narcotics and K-9 Divisions, along with the Montgomery Police Department SWAT, executed an arrest and search warrant at a home in the 4300 block of Danville Court in Montgomery.

Agents arrested 29-year-old Rasheena Gaston inside the home.

ADOC says Gaston has active warrants for Trafficking Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Commit a Controlled Substance Crime through Elmore County.

Agents recovered 236 grams of methamphetamine, 184 grams of marijuana and 62 grams of Flakka.

Gaston is currently in the Elmore County Jail and will have pending charges through Montgomery County.

ADOC says the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
