Montgomery Academy names a new Head Softball Coach

The Montgomery Academy announcing that former Alabama State Head Softball Coach Todd Bradley will now be taking the reigns of their program. Bradley brings with him to MA over two decades of experience coaching at the collegiate level.

Bradley served as the head coach of the Hornets from 2019 to 2024. While with the Hornets Bradley was able to obtain his 500th career win, led his team to both a SWAC Championship Title (2021) and a runner-up conference finish (2022.)

“Life has a way of presenting unexpected opportunities, and I am grateful for this one. I am extremely excited to lead and help shape the future of softball at Montgomery Academy,” explains Bradley.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled for our school and program to have someone of Coach Bradley’s caliber leading our softball team. He brings a wealth of experience from the collegiate level, but what truly sets him apart is his passion for teaching the game from the ground up. Coach Bradley has already built strong connections with our players and embraces the kind of relationship-based coaching that supports long-term growth. At MA, we pursue excellence—and that takes time, effort, and dedication. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and both Coach Bradley and our players are ready for the challenge,” says MA Athletic Director Ward Wright.
