Pike Road football dominates Park Crossing 54-7

Pike Road football cruised to a 54-7 win over the Park Crossing Thunderbirds at Cramton Bowl Thursday night.

Patriots quarterback Gunner Gibbs launched a deep pass, and Jordan Holmes went up and came down with it, racing to the end zone for a 7-0 lead.

The Thunderbirds briefly swung momentum when Jayden Hamilton intercepted Gibbs after a hit on the quarterback, but Park Crossing went three-and-out on the next possession.

Pike Road took advantage as Deundre Thomas bulldozed 14 yards into the end zone for another touchdown, pushing the score to 21-0.

The Patriots remained in control for the rest of the game, eventually coming out on top, 54-7.
