United States Postal Service Now Hiring Rural Carriers in South Alabama
As part of the U.S. Postal Service’s Delivering for America plan the Postal Service is looking to build a more stable workforce through hiring initiatives. In conjunction with this 10-year plan the postal service hosted a job fair in Greenville to invite applicants to apply for open positions.
The postal service doesn’t depend on appropriated funds and is instead an independent entity operating with profits from its own products and services. In the walk in hiring event the postal service welcomes any interested applicants to work in Greenville, Luverne, Troy, Hayneville, and surrounding areas.
The position also offers training, competitive wages beginning at $20.85 per hour, benefits, and career advancement.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, able to pass a criminal background investigation and available to work weekends and holidays.
