Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive: Ebony Evans from Health Services, Inc.
For a dozen years, Action 8 has presented our Magical Christmas Toy Drive to benefit the Salvation Army of Montgomery. One of our partners is Health Services, Inc.
From now through December 10, we are collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to registered families right here in our area.
Our Darryl Hood spoke with Ebony Evans from Health Services, Inc., to find out more about why it’s so important to be involved.
Evans says Health Services, Inc., has created some in-house competition to get its employees involved in the toy drive.
“Right now, we’ve got the radiology department going against the pediatric department, going against the adult department, coming against the behavioral health department, to bring in as many toys as possible,” she said.
Once again this year, our Toy Vault is at the Shoppes at EastChase, to the left of Books-a-Million. In the weeks to come, that space will be filled with toys, thanks to our viewers and our sponsors.
