Three Alexander City residents arrested in drug bust
Three Alexander City residents face charges after a drug bust. Two are charged with cocaine trafficking.
The Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force says that on Tuesday, November 11, Alexander City police conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 280. During the stop, the task force says officers developed probable cause to search the car that had been pulled over.
During the search, officers say they found approximately 39 grams of crack cocaine, 442 grams of marijuana, digital scales and $4,546 in cash.
Arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine, unlawful possession of marijuana 1st degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia were:
43-year-old Samriques Hoyett
29-year-old Ferlandez Judkins
Arrested and charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia was:
36-year-old Chasity Williams
The Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force will be completing the investigation of these cases.
