Two arrested in Montgomery for making a false report involving a child
Montgomery police say two people are now in custody after making a false report involving a child.
Lt. Tina McGriff says around 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the 2600 block of Zelda Road after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle and a missing child.
Lt. McGriff says the child was located and the preliminary investigation determined that the report was false.
Police have charged 24-year-old Laquita Glover and 23-year-old Darius Smith with one count of False Reporting to Law Enforcement Authorities.
Glover and Smith were both booked in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
