Bitter Cold Air Arrives This Weekend

We’re heading back into the deep freeze over the upcoming weekend. Another Arctic blast will be blowing in here Friday night and lingering  through Monday morning.   Temps will plunge and high temps will only manage the 30s and lows in the teen’s. Single digit winds will make it dangerously cold both Saturday and Sunday. You should take precautions now to combat the extreme cold.

In the meantime, we have a partly cloudy and cold night ahead with temps dropping into the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows.   More clouds and even a few showers will roll through the area Friday.   Temps will climb into the upper 40s to lower 50s for highs.

The weekend is looking bitter cold with another Arctic blast of frigid air invading the region.  Temps will plunge into the teen’s and 20s for lows and highs only managing the 30s Saturday and Sunday.  It’s looking cold enough for scattered flurries at times.   Winds will be gusty and that will lead to wind chills in the single digits both mornings. This will be dangerously cold conditions take could lead to hypothermia if unprotected skin is exposed to the wind! Our advice is to layer up and cover everything from head to toe. Better yet, if you don’t have to get out in this extreme cold the better.
