Multimedia Account Executive, WCCB Charlotte, NC
WCCB-TV in Charlotte, NC, and BAHAKEL DIGITAL are searching for Multimedia Account Executives to develop new advertisers for our company, focusing on helping local small business owners achieve their marketing goals.
A Multimedia Account Executive is a media sales professional responsible for developing and selling marketing solutions that align client brands with a station’s news content, original and syndicated programming, and custom digital marketing solutions. This role focuses on blending advertiser messages organically into news segments, digital platforms, or sponsored content within the station’s editorial environment while generating leads for the customer.
Areas of interest – Mecklenburg, York, Union, Gaston, Iredell, Rowan, Cabarrus, Catawba, Lincoln and Burke Counties.
In this position, you will generate sales revenue for WCCB-TV & BAHAKEL DIGITAL through effective sales techniques to meet goals for:
- Television Advertising – using all available traditional local products
- Digital Marketing – both station assets and 3rd party extension products
- Build and manage client relationships and help define media strategy and ROI goals.
Establish relationships with clients and the community and manage accounts including small businesses, small to mid-sized advertising agencies and media companies through:
- Prospecting
- Discovery and customer needs analysis
- Proposal planning, coordination, creation and presentation
- Negotiation and sale closing
- Campaign optimization and pace monitoring
- Post-sale reporting, analysis and campaign renewal

- Identify local businesses in need of marketing services and build relationships with them to gain their trust and confidence. Utilize Bahakel’s television and digital marketing solutions to achieve their marketing goals.
- Build customized campaigns that incorporate on-air mentions, studio interviews, graphic inclusion, and social media amplification.
- Manage client relationships and ensure seamless execution of integrated packages.
- Analyze campaign performance and deliver ROI-focused reporting to clients.
- Strong organizational, written and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Wide Orbit experience is a plus.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal while working independently or as part of a smart, sophisticated and fun team.
- Proven self-starter and not afraid to cold call.
- Business acumen related to new media, digital interactive initiatives and social media.
- Professional appearance is a must.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
