First United Methodist Hosts Senior Caregiver Resource Fair Thursday

Seniors and caregivers across the Tri-County area will have access to helpful information and support during an upcoming resource fair in Montgomery.

The Senior Caregiver and Resource Fair will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, at First United Methodist Church, offering local families tools and guidance to better support the seniors in their lives.

The event will feature four speakers addressing topics related to senior care, caregiving resources and community support. Organizers say the fair is designed to connect caregivers with services that can ease the challenges of caring for aging loved ones.

Tammy Center, director of the church’s Respite Ministry, spoke with Action 8 News anchor Estee Morrison about what attendees can expect and the importance of providing caregivers with reliable resources.

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to noon in the church’s Fellowship Hall at 2416 W. Cloverdale Park in Montgomery. The event is open to the public.
