Montgomery Catholic takes on Fairfield in the Central Regional Final
The 4A Boys Central Regional Final featured the Montgomery Catholic Knights and the Fairfield Tigers.
The Knights entered the game 17-10, while the Tigers came in at 21-10. Fairfield won in blowout fashion 69-37.
The Tigers shot nearly 50% from the field and never trailed in the entire game. Tiger Forward Milton Jones led in scoring with 30 points while shooting over 50% from the field.
Knights forward MJ Belser and guard Matt Gourdine both won All-Tournament Team honors.
Fairfield’s season will continue in Birmingham with a chance at winning a state title.
