Montgomery Zoo preparing for annual Zoo Weekend celebration
The Montgomery Zoo’s annual Zoo Weekend spring fundraiser offers a great time for the entire family.
It will be held from 9AM to 5PM on Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8.
Zoo Weekend festivities include great music, two stages of live entertainment, games and prizes for children, inflatables and slides, rides, animal presentations and encounters, tons of yummy concessions and more.
Admission includes
— Entry to the Zoo and Mann Museum
— Entry Waters of the World
— View the animals in Reptile Junction
— Zookeeper talk at 11:30am and 1:30pm daily
— Entertainment at Main and Jaguar Stage
— Visit with MPD Police and see Police and SWAT vehicles at MPD tent
— Visit with MFD Fire / First Responders, see Fire Pumper Truck and visit Smoke House at MFD tents
Additional fun, attractions, and rides
— Game tickets $5 per sheet of 10 tickets
— Train ride: Members: $3 per person / non-members: $4 per person
— Giraffe Encounter: Members: $3 per person / non-members: $4 per person
— Sky lift ride: Members: $5 per person / non-members: $6 per person
— Various games: 2 tickets per game
— Various slides and inflatables: tickets vary
— Toddler play area: FREE for toddlers only (limited to infants to 4 years old)
— Concessions: four concession tents, selections and prices vary
Zoo Weekend Admissions
— Adults: $19
— Children (ages 3-12 years old): $15
— Toddlers (2 years old and younger): FREE
— Montgomery Zoo members: FREE
— Member guest passes cannot be used for admission during Zoo Weekend.
No admission discounts during Zoo Weekend. This is a fundraising event for the Montgomery Zoo. Membership discounts available March 1 – March 31.
