Montgomery Whitewater to pause all water activities for a month

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Effective immediately, Montgomery Whitewater will pause all water activities for about a month so its water filtration system can undergo maintenance.

That includes this weekend’s All Forward raft races.

Montgomery Whitewater officials say this work will help it maintain water quality levels.

Its restaurant, ropes course, trail system and educational programming will continue while the work is being done.
