1st Annual “Puppy Palooza” in Pike Road
PIKE ROAD, Ala. (WAKA) – Pike Road had their very first “Puppy Palooza” on Saturday.
Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day care, invited families and friends to bring their dogs for some family fun. The Elmore County and Montgomery Humane Society were both there with puppies up for adoption.
There were dozens of vendors offering treats, dog foods, and other fun things for your four-legged family member. There was live music, as well as mini donuts, and plenty of fun games for the kids.
“It’s so much fun to bring community pet owners together. We’re seeing individuals with all kinds of breeds of dogs, some are rescue, and being able to bring them to one place where they could potentially rescue another is really neat,” said Kimberly Crumpler, Operations Manager for the Montgomery Humane Society.
“We are a dog boarding, daycare, training, and grooming facility in Montgomery. We just love on your dogs while your away. We’ve got five indoor and outdoor play yards, live webcams, and it’s all day play. When your dog comes with us, unless they are sleeping or eating, they are playing with their friends,” said Owner of Camp Bow Wow Montgomery, Lauren Gold.
