8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMER ALERT (WAKA) – Target is recalling some of its Up & Up branded baby wipes due to potential bacterial contamination.

The products affected are fragrance-free and cucumber-scented wipes.

Target says it has received complaints of the wipes getting discolored.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says its testing has revealed the presence of a bacteria that may result in serious, even life-threatening infections in babies and young children.

The impacted fragrance-free wipes have expiration dates between May 10, 2028 through November 5, 2028.

The cucumber-scented wipes have expiration dates between June 29, 2028 and June 30, 2028.

Target says it has received complaints of eye and skin irritation as well as some infections associated with the use of the wipes.

If you have these wipes, you should stop using them and take them back to Target for a refund.
