What’s Happening: June 12-14
WHAT’S HAPPENING (WAKA) – Yes, it’s going to be hot this weekend, but there are still plenty of events to enjoy, including some ways to cool off!
The Dragon Boat Festival is back at the Alabama River in downtown Montgomery, with dragon boat races, food and a lot of fun.
Move MGM is holding is Color Run if you want to lace up your shoes and hit the pavement before the afternoon heat kicks in.
Free Fish Day is happening at Gateway Park in Montgomery to allow you to fish, with no license needed.
Montgomery is holding a Midnight Summer Jam, which puts basketball in the spotlight even after the sun goes down.
Splash pads are open to give you a free way to cool off.
But if you want to be inside, you can check out The Sheep Detectives at the Capri Theatre.
