Prattville man killed in pickup truck crash in Macon County

MACON COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A Prattville man has been killed after crashing the pickup truck he was driving in Macon County.

Alabama State Troopers say 63-year-old Michael Vaughan was driving the truck, which left the road and hit an embankment. Investigators say he wasn’t using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened at about 9:40PM Thursday, June 11, at the intersection of Macon County Road and Alabama Highway 120, about six miles west of Notasulga.
