ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police release name of man shot and killed
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have now released the name of a man who was shot and killed.
Police say 62-year-old Alan Griffin of Montgomery was shot just before 6PM yesterday in the 500 block of Woodbrook Drive, which is in a neighborhood off of the Northern Boulevard. Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.
A homicide investigation has now been launched. He is Montgomery’s 31st homicide victim of the year.
