ACTION 8 UPDATE: Juvenile charged with capital murder in Montgomery fatal shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have charged a juvenile male with capital murder in a fatal shooting that happened last month.

The juvenile was arrested by the police SWAT and the U.S. Marshals Task Force and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility today.

He faces two counts of capital murder in the death of 62-year-old Alan Griffin of Montgomery.

As Action 8 News has reported, Griffin was shot just before 6PM on July 27 in the 500 bock of Woodbrook Drive, which is near Northern Boulevard.

Police say the circumstances remain under investigation, and no additional information is available.
