CAMPAIGN 2026: U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer wins Republican nomination for U.S. House District 6

CAMPAIGN 2026 (WAKA) – The Associated Press has projected that U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer will win the Republican nomination for U.S. House District 6.

Palmer faced one challenger in the Republican primary. There are four candidates in the Democratic primary for that seat.

District 6 includes Autauga County and part of Elmore County in our area, and stretches north to the Birmingham area.

A Democratic primary winner hasn’t yet been declared.
