Heat advisory Wednesday through Saturday; Edouard near landfall
The calendar now says September, but summer heat continues across central and south Alabama. Temperatures soar into the mid and perhaps upper 90s Tuesday afternoon, with heat indices near or over 100°. Meanwhile, the sky remains partly to mostly sunny, with only stray showers for a few locations. Tuesday evening and Tuesday night quickly become mainly dry with a mostly clear sky. Low temperatures range from the low to mid 70s.
